2nds get back to winning ways

After a couple of heavy defeats the seconds recorded an excellent home win last Saturday against
Perthshire. For the first time this season they were able to field a full squad with a hefty bench. After
an error ridden first half the seconds were behind but they rolled up their sleeves to fight back for a
bonus point win. McDonald came off the bench to score 3 trys and there were also scores from
Polland, Ferguson and Brough with Haggart adding a couple of conversions. A good performance all
round with the veteran Brough showing the youngsters that straight running is the shortest route to

the line while young McDonald showed some promise for the future. This week the 2s are also at
home as they face Crieff with KO 2pm.
