Having not played or trained together this season the combined Grr-Alloa team struggled against the better drilled teams at the festival.
With only 20 minutes of practice together they started the festival on the back foot.
Results did not go their way although by the end of the afternoon the drills so quickly practiced began to bear fruit with several excellent moves from all of the boys and girls.
The team Grangemouth part of Grr-Alloa was :

Morgan
Andrew
Jack

Results
Falkirk 4 - 0 Grr-Alloa
Falkirk were too quick and well organised for the combined team. Falkirk had several excellent runs through to to score. Good development by the boys of their scrum and rucking.
McLaren 7 - 0 Grr-Alloa
Our mixed team of P6&7 played against an all P7 team one or two of whom appeared to be very tall for tehir age.
Kirkcaldy 4 - 2 Grr-Alloa
Much better game all round , some excellent runs by Andrew set up both trys.
Hillfoots 5 - 0 Grr-Alloa
The score here does not reflect the game which was played mostly at the half way line. Hillfoots had 5 breakaway trys down the line to score.
Strathendrick 3 - 0 Grr-Alloa
Great runs by both teams in a hard fought mid field battle. Strath managed to push over the try line where as Grr-Alloa just failed four times and were within a meter of the line each time.
