
Grangemouth Rugby club would like to announce a new coaching team for the upcoming season. With the arrival of the club coach Craig Deacons at the start of last season and his back room staff of Scott Crawford Strength and Conditioning coach and Craig Bolan as Skills coach.
The club has moved forward on the field as the senior men's 1xv won the Caledonian midlands 2 division. The 2nd team team managed to get to the play offs for the Caledonian Midlands 3 division. There has also been a investment in the the facilities at the club that as well as having a indoor sports barn with 3G surface it also has a new gym.
With this in mind the club and Craig Deacon's are happy to announce that for the new season Mikee Parsons former premier rugby and British police winger/fullback has agreed with Jen Cram recently retired from Murrayfield Wanderers with 20 years at the top of the women's game and 13 trophies to her career are to be heading up the coaching team for the ladies section at a Grangemouth. Craig is delighted to have a experienced team in place.
With all the good work being done off the pitch by the club and its patrons it is now time for the club to start moving back up the leagues. With this focus in mind Craig has put together a coaching team which is for the whole club and not just focused on one team or section. Along side the coaching team Director of Rugby is David Jamieson who will be working hard with all the coaches and the club's Development officer Adam Hind.
This is an exciting time for the club and we would like to give a open invite to all players and parents to come along to our Fun day on the 10th of June at 1pm for everyone from mini to senior players.
